Where can I find a REALLY CHEAP not professional Ice skating equiptment?

I need ice skates less than 50 dollars, I need a warmish ice skating dress less than 50 dollars, I need a bag to hold it all, and I need a pair of fancy gloves. (all for my daughter who is 12 and new to skating)

  3. well.... if shes competing, hense the dress, then a pair of 50$ ice skates is a fantasy i'de say reidell blue ribbon, about 40$ more, but they're perfect for her a dress? practice or competition? search ebay, -plain skating dress, or child figure skating dress or somehting i know someone who bought a competition dress, normally 112$ for 16 dollars on ebay, brand new!!!!! "fancy gloves"? what's fancy gloves? thin white gloves? knit? cashmere? i'de just say get some under armour black gloves, they're bout as "fancy" as ull get a bag..hmm....check for zucca bags or, like me, im using a vera bradley small duffle o btw, ur gonna need skate guards, to put on the blade about 8$ hmm....you may want soakers to protect the blade don't forget to wipe the blade once ur done skating to prevent rusting, and leave the bag open to let them cool down and what not
  4. for dresses try ebay. or closeouts and sales on delarbour etc. tip: don't get white or black tights get skin color. as for ice skates, they'll be a really sucky pair but when i was jsut starting i got some for $30 at models and sports authority (places like that) for a bag just get one of the ones in the shape of skates (you can get them at any pro shop that sells skates and accessories) fancy gloves? uhm i don't know what you mean by fancy gloves. but you can get gloves anywhere ie target, wal mart, pro shops, etc. you can also talk to coaches about the dress. usually when skaters out grow their dresses they give them to their coaches to sell them. o or for a bag try a regular duffel/ gym bag. thats what i use to put my skates in. you can find one at marshall's or tjmaxx for around 15 or 20 dollars. good luck. http://www.skatesforless.net/home.php?cat=280&gclid=CIzqtJDHr5cCFQwDGgodARRhiw http://www.figureskatingstore.com/ http://www.figureskatingdeals.com/ http://www.gk-elitesportswear.com/Skating.html?&utm_source=yahoo&utm_medium=cpc just google (or blackle or the green spyder) figure skating dresses and you should get some nice sites. those are good ones.
  5. well most skates are over 50$ but you can get a pair for about 20$ at a sports shop but if your daughter wants to skate at a high level i recommend getting a pair of skates for a bit more like in the 60$-90$ because when she starts learning "big" jumps like toe loops with the cheap skates she could twist her ankle or something & 30$ more on skates is better than an expensive hospital bill for the dress you can find one at a dance shop or they might be sold at the rink your daughter is planning on skating at & practice dresses are normally in the 40$-60$ range for a bag, you could find one made for roller blades or you could use an old suitcase, as for the gloves the best ones to use for skating are the knit ones because you can move your fingers, i don't know why but moving your fingers is important in skating, & you could decorate them to make them pretty!
  6. I'm sure you can find a bunch of cheap equipment at a local pro-shop! :)
