  1. i copied this info In London there are more open air ice rinks than any other city in the world. So whether you've been ice skating before, or you're an ice newbie, this is looking like a vintage year for ice skating in London. In fact you can skate at most of our historic landmarks if it takes your fancy. We have been around and tried them all and this season here are our top places to 'get your skates on'! Tower of London 22nd November 2008 - 11th January 2009 Set in a historic surrounding this is a great place for skaters of all abilities. It's nice and central to get to after work and it's also fun to watch you boss attempt to take to the ice. Natural History Museum's Ice Rink - 6th November 2008 - 18th January 2009 This rink gets busy so booking is essential. A great place to take any kids as there is a Christmas fair and a cafe. A good day out for all, the skating starts as early as 8.45am on the weekends so there is no excuse to miss out. Kew Gardens Ice Rink - 29th November 2008 - 4th January 2009 This rink is one of our favourites, mainly because it's so beautiful. A perfect romantic place to take your other half, it is surrounded by Christmas decorations that really take the breath away. Somerset House Ice Rink - 19th November - 25th January 2009 Skate under the huge Tiffany Christmas tree and have a glam night out on the ice. This is one of the most popular places to skate so book early. Battersea On Ice Week - 24th November - 30th November For one week only, a synthetic rink will be installed on the grass opposite Lavender Hill police station on Elspeth Road. The area will be turned into a mini Winter Wonderland. Hampton Court Ice Rink - 29th November 2008 - 11th January 2009 Royal surroundings make this rink impressive to even the most experienced skater. A well looked after outside rink with lots of personality.
  2. Yes! Thay are good alot and alot of people!
  3. During the winter, in Hyde Park there's the Winter Wonderland. I went last year, it's pretty crap. There's quite a lot of people, but the ice felt crinkled so you couldn't really skate properly, or at least, fast.
